POL 571 COMPARATIVE POLITICAL ANALYSIS. This course is an inquiry into methods, problems and prospects of comparative or cross-national analysis. It includes a study of techniques and selected problems of the comparison of political systems by structure and function and an examination of the use of concepts of development and modernization for explaining diverse systems.
