ECONOMICS COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
ECO 570 ECONOMIC THEORY. An integration of micro and macro economic theory with special emphasis on how various economic policy choices may impact the national economy and the operation of business firms. Prerequisites: ECO 233 and ECO 234.
ECO 571 SEMINAR IN MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS. Quantitative tools used in solving business problems. Topics include demand and cost estimation, modeling, and forecasting. Prerequisites: ECO 233 and ECO 234.
ECO 575 DIRECTED READINGS AND RESEARCH IN ECONOMICS. A directed individual study is made of a selected problem in the field of economics. Prerequisite: Approval of Department Chair and Graduate Coordinator.
ECO 579 SEMINAR IN LABOR ECONOMICS. Selected topics in the field of labor economics or the history of labor organization in the U.S. or foreign countries. Prerequisites: ECO 233 and ECO 234.
