Program Description
The graduate certificate in Early Childhood Education focuses specifically on the teaching of young children to provide additional training for teachers and others who work with young children.
This certificate has been approved by the Higher Education Coordinating Board and is awarded by Sam Houston State University.
Admission
Applicants seeking admission to the graduate certificate program in Early Childhood Education must submit the following directly to the Office of Graduate Studies:
- A Graduate Studies Application with the application fee
- Official transcript from the baccalaureate degree granting institution
- Two recommendation forms
- Writing sample
