Six universities and North Harris Montgomery Community College District formed a multi-institutional teaching center to provide unduplicated bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees to a service area, specifically north Houston, north Harris County, and Montgomery County. The University Center provides a critical link for community development and individual opportunity to an estimated 1.2 million citizens.
